Nemoy and Djemeia met at some sort of band/singer contest in Zurich. He was in the jury – no one, knows why – and Djemeia ended up winning that thing. After that, Nemoy just didn’t stop bothering, her with soulful, lo-fi House tracks, until eventually she gave up and recorded these magical vocals, over some of his tracks. A perfect fit, right away.
